4) Register the day of the event. (But, only pre-registered are guaranteed a T-shirt and this event is capped at 500 participants)
1) A long sleeve, tech shirt with our awesome Hoodie Hoo graphic!
2 ) Bib tag timing on a custom bib. QR code for immediate race results.
4) Finisher Medal
5) If you place 1st, 2nd or 3rd in your age group . . . a medal!
6) Hot chocolate, bagels, bananas and other treats after you finish
NOTE: THE MILE EVENT IS NOT A TIMED EVENT.

There are no age limits. We encourage everyone to lace up their running/walking shoes and participate!

Ample parking is available at Lake St. Clair Metropark.

Yes. Please position yourself at the back of the runners to ensure everyone’s safety.
There is no fee for babies/children in strollers.
No. If you have something that you don't want to carry with you while running/walking the 5K, you will need to leave it with a friend or family member. Or . . . take it back to your vehicle before the start.
Yes, it's okay to wear headphones. We encourage you to be aware and cautious of your surroundings for your safety and the safety of others.
Water will be available in the Start/Finish area.
We will also have Course Staff on golf carts to assist with any needs.

• We use B-tags (computer chips on the back of our custom bibs) with a QR code for immediate results.
• Numbers must be pinned on the front of your shirt, jacket or pants.
1 Mile
• You receive a race bib, but you will not be officially timed.

You have both options! :)
1. There are restooms available at Welsh Activity Center, Boat Bathroom (heated)
2. Port-A-Potties will be located near the building itself. (not heated : )
Make sure to dress appropriately - layer, layer, and layer.
The Thomas Welsh Activity Center is heated.
